How Can Branches Band Serve You and Your Congregation?

To give you an idea of how to use Branches Band as a tool for ministry in your congregation, here are some examples of activities we have participated in previously.

1. ✤Assisting worship services by playing hymns as well as Christian contemporary songs
   

2. ✤Planning special services (Advent, Friendship Sunday, Epiphany, Outreach, etc)
   

3. ✤Giving a complete concert to serve as outreach in your neighborhood or as an uplifting event for your congregation
   

4. ✤Offer a children’s music camp
   

5. ✤Offer a music workshop for church musicians
   

6. ✤Leading kids songs for Vacation Bible School and Sunday School
   

7. ✤Playing music (Christian as well as secular) for church events, such as picnics, outreach events, ladies aid, potlucks, etc.

The members of Branches Band are all members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), and so whether we play Christian music or secular, there is Christian fellowship between the band members and the members of your congregation.
