Branches Band Members ˚

Andy Braun

Andy plays guitar, harmonica, and adds vocals. He also performs in an acoustic duo with Rachel aptly named “Andy & Rachel”

(www.andybraun.com). Andy & Rachel play all over the Milwaukee area at a wide variety of venues. Andy graduated in 2005 with a degree in communication from Wisconsin Lutheran College. His home church is St. Matthew in Milwaukee (www.stmattwels.com).

Rachel Braun

Rachel (Schuelein) Braun plays small percussion (including bongos, tambourine, and shaker) as well as some piano. Her most prominent instrument is her voice, as she received a degree in vocal performance from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2007. She also performs in the previously mentioned acoustic duo, Andy & Rachel. Rachel is an Arizona native, graduating from Arizona Lutheran Academy in 2003. Her home church is St. Matthew in Milwaukee (www.stmattwels.com).

Jeremy Bakken (part-time)

Jeremy plays bass, piano, guitar, and adds vocals. He graduated from WLC with degrees in mathematics and music composition. He is a published composer and several of his arrangements are performed by Branches Band, and also Revelation (a singing group from Wisconsin Lutheran College). He is currently working on his master’s degree in music composition and choral conducting at the University of New Mexico.
